The room looked worn. There were visible stains on the carpet, a detail that detracted from the overall feel. I encountered an issue with the shower, it did not drain well. Water accumulated quickly.

i found the staff very helpful and friendly, especially at breakfast. i appreciated the hotel's quiet location (it allowed for restful nights). the room was clean, and i enjoyed having several restaurants and shops nearby.
i noticed a slight kitchen smell on the ground floor sometimes.

The breakfast had a good selection of food.
The room felt more like a 3-star experience. There were no curtains large enough to cover the windows. Daylight woke us up early. I also found the bathroom very cramped and it had an unpleasant smell.
